District Institute of Education and Training, Ahmedabad was established in the fourth stage in June 2002 by the Education Department. The Director of GCERT and the Principal of the DIET who has done great effort for doing proposal for DIET & doing procedure to obtain Land for DIET Building and as a result of such action DIET- Ahmedabad’s Birth is done. So now DIET is working for Elementary teachers’ training, Educational Researches and to developing the elementary education curriculum.

ધોરણ ૧૧ અને ૧૨ ભૂગોળ (ગુજરાતી અને અંગ્રેજી માધ્યમ) માટે એસએસએએમ દ્વારા રાજય કક્ષાએ તૈયાર કરવામાં આવેલ ઇ-કન્ટેન્ટ જેવા કે ઓડીયો, વિડિયો, એનીમેશન, પીડીએફ ડોકયુમેન્ટસ, મૂલ્યાંકન, કવીઝ વિગેરે કન્ટેન્ટની ચકાસણી કરી તેમાં રહેલ ત્રુટિઓ, મુદ્રણ વિગેરેમાં સુધારા કરી સારું ઇ કન્ટેન્ટ બનાવવા માટેના પ્રસ્તાવોની મુ્દ્દાવાર નોંધ કરી તેની વિસ્તૃત ચર્ચા આ વર્ગમાં કરીને મળેલ સુધારાઓનું ડોકયુમેન્ટ કોમ્પ્યૂટરાઇઝ કરીને જીસીઇઆરટી, ગાંધીનગરમાં મોકલી આપવામાં આવશે.

ZONE Level Research Paper Presentation Workshop has been organised by DIET CMDE Branch. Teachers & Lecturers of Six DIETs - Districts of ZONE has participated in this conference to present their Research Papers. Total 35 Research Papers has been presented. Selected Best Five Researcher's information & Papers has been sent to DIET Baroda for State Level Workshop
